10 of the Best Studio C Sketches

10 of the Best Studio C Sketches (of All Time)

In this post, we will list out ten of the Best Studio C sketches of all time based solely on personal opinion.

What is Studio C, and what are the best Studio C sketches?

Studio C, founded in 2012 by members of the Divine Comedy group at Brigham Young University, specializes in clean, family-friendly sketch comedy.

The ten original cast members of Studio C are Jason Gray, Mallory Everton, Whitney Call, Matt Meese, Adam Berg, Stacey Harkey, Natalie Madsen, Stephen Meek, James Perry, and Jeremy Warner.

After nine seasons, however, the original ten cast members left to start JK! Studios. Since their departure, a couple of the original cast members have returned to Studio C at various points during its run (namely Jason Gray and Matt Meese).

Although Studio C has produced some funny sketches since the original ten cast members left, I’m focusing only on the sketches from the first nine seasons, as those are, arguably, the most iconic.

However, to be completely honest, I stopped keeping up with the newer content awhile ago, so I’m less familiar with the tone/style/cleanliness of the newest seasons.

The original ten created Studio C, setting the tone for future generations of cast members, so it’s only fair to spotlight them in a list of some of the best Studio C sketches.

Top 10 Best Studio C Sketches of All Time

Here’s our list of the ten best Studio C sketches of all time (in our opinion) in no particular order:

10. How to Pick Up Chicks with Marcus

Need some ideas about how to pick up chicks? Marcus has some…unique—and hilarious—ideas about how to get a girlfriend. There are a few different sketches about Marcus. I recommend watching all three of them.

9. Aww Yeah

Aww Yeah is one of my all-time favorite sketches and for good reason. The Aww Yeah lady is random, socially awkward, and supportive of this new couple.

There’s a sequel, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the original.

8. “Mono” Monologue

Despite the seriousness of mononucleosis (I’ve known multiple people who have had it), sometimes it’s fun to educate people about the disease in a humorous and unique way.

“Mono” Monologue certainly fits the bill and explores a fun misunderstanding on the traditional monologue.

7. Dead Wedding

What would happen if a funeral director and a wedding/party planner arrange to meet their clients at the same park—at the same time? Hilarity, of course.

6. Channel Surfing

Have you ever played that game where you and a group of others tell a story, a little bit at a time, with full freedom? Imagine that, but with channel surfing.

I keep going back to Channel Surfing time and time again. It’s definitely one of my all time favorites, and the humor is rather timeless.

5. Five Day Weather Forecast

What would the five day weather forecast look like during the end of the world? You’d think it would be chaotic, but it’s even crazier than you could’ve imagined.

4. Two Guys on a Scooter

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to pile on (sardine style) a small scooter? Watch Two Guys on a Scooter and find out! Even better, it’s a song.

3. Death Bed Repentance

Arguably the best costume change in sketch comedy history, Death Bed Repentance isn’t just Jeremy Warner’s best role (in our opinion)—it’s also his most iconic.

2. Poker Face

What would happen if someone who has no idea how to play poker ends up in a high stakes poker game? Watch Poker Face and find out!

1. Everything Sounds Nicer (When You Sing)

What’s the best way to fire someone? By singing, of course!

This list is totally subjective and reflects the author’s picks of Studio C sketches that are fun, memorable, and family-friendly. Our list of the Best Studio C sketches is not meant to be comprehensive.

Although most of the sketches (at least the earliest seasons) are family-friendly, we have not kept up with the newer seasons, so view at your own risk. Additionally, what defines “family-friendly” can vary depending on who you ask, so do your own research and prescreen, if necessary, before watching with your children.

  1. What about Scott Sterling? That soccer sketch, it was one of the first I saw of Studio C. But all the other ones you listed are awesome! It would be hard to narrow down. Thanks!
